  • 2 bombers of the 2nd Bomber Squadron of the Chinese-American Composite Wing attacked Japanese ships in the Yangtze River in China. On the return flight, one of the B-25 bombers ran out of fuel and unsuccessfully crash landed, killing the entire crew.
