At wars end surviving aircraft surrendered in Japan were later scrapped, a few were shipped back to the USA for test and evaluation.

OOPS! NOT ON THE SHORT LIST

Surviving aircraft surrendered in Japan were scrapped. A few different types of aircraft were shipped back to the United States for test and evaluation, the Ki-51 "Sonia" was not among those tested.
