I am somewhat confused, the Coral Sea was commissioned in 1947, the original Coral Sea was renamed the USS Franklin D, Roosevelt CVB 42 which was also commissioned after WWII. Was there another ship named for the Battle of the Coral Sea?

Mr. Lewis (above):
The escort carrier CVE-57 was laid down as the Alikula Bay but the name was changed before launch to the Coral Sea. Commissioned as the USS Coral Sea on 27 Aug 1943, she was renamed USS Anzio on 15 Sep 1944 so that the name Coral Sea could be available for a Midway-class carrier that was being planned (which became CVB-43 commissioned 1 Oct 1947).
