WW2DB's Fourth Anniversary
The World War II Database is celebrating its fourth birthday today! With the past anniversary posts, I was able to report news of growth. This one is no different. Monthly page view count is nearing 400,000, and the content has expanded significantly as well (growth since last anniversary in parenthesis).
- 483 biographies (+59)
- 209 events (+8)
- 475 ships in 173 classes (+42)
- 207 aircraft models (+49)
- 190 weapon models (+5)
- 22 historical documents (+4)
- 105 books reviewed (+40)
- 5930 photos (+1,431), 693 in color (+93)
- 1,636 visitor comments (+670)
Of course, continued support from the team makes this progress possible. Contributors such as Morgan Bell and newcomers such as David Stubblebine all moved forward the little project called WW2DB that started out only as an extension of my own World War II notebook. As I said last year on this date: Stay tuned - the best is yet to come!
