Television Program on Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima

A Japanese television program for the films Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima will be aired in the Tokyo area on Television Tokyo (channel 12) on Saturday, 25 Nov 2006, between 13:55 and 14:25; outside the Tokyo area, it will begin showing on 23 Nov 2006, please check with your local television provider for air time(s).

The show will feature interviews with the actors in the two movies, as well as an interview with the author of Flags of Our Fathers James Bradley. World War II Database is also happy to report that it had played a minor role in the research for this television program, namely with the material from the United States National Archives.
