ww2dbaseJean Denis was born in Chastre-Villeroux-Blanmont, Walloon Brabant, Belgium in 1902. He was a member of the far right Catholic movement in Belgium that would, in 1935, become the Rexist political party. In 1936, he published Principes Rexistes and Bases Doctrinales de Rex, both published in 1936, arguing for a new hierarchical structure for Belgium as a means to a greater Belgium. He collaborated with the German occupation administration during the war, and was often a contributor of the Belgian Fascist newspaper Le Pays RĂ©el. After the war, he was imprisoned for his collaboration. He was released in 1951, settling in Dion-le-Val, Chaumont-Gistoux in Walloon Brabant.
