ww2dbaseYuji Kobe graduated Naval Academy in 1917, ranking the 34th in a class of 89. His first command position was the destroyer Momo on 10 Dec 1928. After various staff posts, he returned to sea in May 1942 as the commander of the Yakumo, then proceeded to command various ships until the end of the war. He was officially demobilized from the Japanese Navy on 31 Mar 1946.
