Reg Coote took many more pix than this, especially of Iceland in 1940-41, see the Admiralty Collection - specifically- at IWM. He was a keen photographer before the war, taking many wonderful shots of the Marie Blanche Laundry in Wandsworth, which he managed. His album of these was deposited at the Lavender Hill library. His images of the laundry were used at BAC's Wandsworth Women's Working Lives project in the 1980s (which I led) and I have poor photocopies of some. I believe he lived in Battersea. He was very generous to our project but never mentioned his wartime status. This mean deserves commemoration.
