The above picture of US Sailors swabbing the deck, after 25 July 46, intrigues me, as on 05 May a LCDR Edward R. Riedel relieved CAPT Graubart. There's no way of substantiating this, as the ships logbooks, are not in NARA. I also hold that ship was decommissioned on 20 August, and stricken on 23 September. What do you have ???
