Hoover, FAdm Chester Nimitz, RAdm Glenn B. Davis, RAdm L.J. Wiltse, Cmdr W.R. Carter, RAdm W. Baker. Interestingly not present in this group of Third Fleet admirals was the Third Fleet Commander, Adm William Halsey.
