An uncle I never met survived the Bataan death march. Gen. Wainwright was captured also, and after his return was CO @ Ft. Sam. My mom was his secretary.

It was a big tragic,, but thanks to American soldiers also to our Filipino ancestors because they fight for the independence of our country, to God be the Glory, God bless Our nation

The Bataan death march is painful for me to even think of. I was not old enough to be in WW11. Several in my family fought in it. In printing my family history I have tried to give accounts and thanks to those who saved us from the horrows of war.
