COLORS:

DURING THE MASS NAZI RALLIES THOUSANDS OF STANDARDS WERE DISPLAYED AND FLAGS FLOWN. DURING SUCH CEREMONIES, EVEN THE FUHRER HAD HIS PERSONAL STANDARD.

THE FUHRER'S STANDARD:

THE STANDARD ON THE RIGHT, SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPH BELONGS TO THE FUHRER AND WAS USED
AND COULD ONLY BE RAISED IN HIS PRESENCE AND WAS INTRODUCED IN 1939, AFTER HITLER BECAME COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF THE WEHRMACHT.

THE FLAG BACKGROUND WAS BLOOD RED IN OPPOSITE
CORNERS WERE THE NSDAP EAGLE AND THE WEHRMACHT EAGLE, IN GOLD, SWASTIKA CENTERED AGAINST A WHITE CIRCLE WITH GOLD OAK LEAVES. THE FUHRERSTANDARTE WAS NEVER FLOWN IN THE WIND, AND WAS SUPPORTED TO REMAIN UPRIGHT.
