ww2dbaseGerman minesweeper M253 was completed in Apr 1941. She was surrendered in May 1945. She was transferred to France in Oct 1947 and was renamed Vimy. She returned to German service in Feb 1957 as Bremse and was made a target vessel in Oct 1963.
