ww2dbaseZ55 was one of the seven Type 1944 diesel-powered destroyers planned to be equipped with sizeable anti-aircraft weaponry with modern electronics. She was one of the five laid down in early 1943, but she was broken up on the slip after the entire project was canceled in Jul 1944.
