ww2dbaseU-3061 was a Type XXI submarine ordered by the German Navy in Nov 1943. The Deutsche Schiff- und Maschinenbau (Deschimag) shipyard in Bremen, Germany began building this boat in early 1945. Less than a month later, the boat was damaged by an Allied air raid on 11 Mar 1945. After the war, she was broken up on the building slips.
