ww2dbaseJosefine Krepp Block was a Austrian secretary who worked at the German occupation administration in Drohobych, Ukraine. Despite being a mother of several children, she exhibited particularly cruel behavior toward Jewish children. She was accused of stomping a young Jewish girl to death, and of ramming a Jewish child to death with an empty baby stroller. She carried a riding crop often, and at times would lash out at Jews and Roma in the ghettos or in deportation round up areas. After the war, during her trial, she attempted to lay the blame on others, even including her Jewish seamstress. She was acquitted due to lack of evidence.
