  • Crown Prince Hirohito traveled from Takao (now Kaohsiung) to Heito (now Pintung), Taiwan by train to visit Taiwan Sugar Corporation's Ako plant, In the afternoon, he returned to Takao and visited Mount Takao (now Mount Shou) on the coast. ww2dbase [Showa | CPC]
