  • Crown Prince Hirohito traveled from Takao (now Kahsiung), Taiwan to Mako, Hoko Prefecture (now Makung, Penghu) by destroyer. After inspecting various facilities, he reboarded the destroyer for an overnight journey to Kirun (now Keelung) in northern Taiwan. ww2dbase [Main Article | CPC]
