- Do 18 flying boat "Zephir" piloted by Lufthansa Flugkapitän Blankenburg was launched from the German seaplane tender Schwabenland by catapult in the Azores. Do 18 flying boat "Aeolus" was similarly launched. ww2dbase [Do 18 | CPC]
