ww2dbaseZhanyi Airfield (Postal Map romanization: Changyi) in Yunnan Province, China hosted American reconnaissance aircraft during WW2, mainly between Sep 1944 and Sep 1945. The Americans departed in early Oct 1945. After the war, communist Chinese authorities operated the airfield as a joint civilian airport and a military base.
