"A bulldozer prepares a roadway"(?) It doesn't drive itself; US Navy Seabees paved the way to victory. Seabees deserve a lot of credit, these captions don't even give them a little.

Ive heard other veterans state that while landing supplies on Iwo Jima they had to run over marines who had died in the beginning of the battle. The above picture appears to have a dead marine just to the left of the bulldozer.
