Those are the M1917a1s on the back of the scout car. The m1921 was a 50cal and had the spade same as all 50cals.

Interesting photo of a US Scout Car S-1 this vehicle was built by Ford in Australia 40 being built. The vehicle carried a crew of five.
Main weapon, is the Browning Air-Cooled .50 Caliber Machine Gun.
What are the two secondary weapons? looks like they are water-cooled M-1917A-1 .30 Caliber Machine Guns. However Browning did have a water-cooled version of the Fifty Caliber Machine Gun called the M-1921.
Both the M-1917A-1.30 and the M-1921.50 Caliber weapons had a single pistol grip.
