Added information on above photograph. Restoration is based on the Spanish built Hispano Ha 1112 M-IL.
The aircraft passed through different owners In 1997 the aircraft was sold and rebuilt w/
a DB 605 Engine, after years of work, it made
its first flight on August 2004.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109, FM-BB is owned by the Messerschmitt Foundation of Manching, Germany.

This aircraft was built by the Spanish firm Hispano Aviación, which license-built Bf 109 fighters during and after WW2.
