GERMAN INFANTYMEN WERE TOUGH AND DETERMINED SOLDIERS. THEY FOUGHT HARD FOR EVERY FOOT OF GROUND TAKEN.
THESE TROOPS COULD BE MEMBERS OF A MACHINE GUN COMPANY, THAT WAS EQUIPPED WITH TWELVE MACHINE GUNS, WEAPON SHOWN IS THE MG42 AND MORTARS, EACH MACHINE GUN PLATOON HAD TWO SQUADS ARMED WITH TWO HEAVY MACHINE GUNS.

AN NCO WAS IN CHARGE AS SQUAD LEADER ARMED W/MP40, THE MG GUNNER AND ASSISTANT GUNNER WERE ARMED W/PISTOLS AND K98 RIFLES, THE AMMUNITION BARRIERS, WERE ARMED WITH K98 RIFLES. MEMBERS OF AN INFANTRY SQUAD, ALSO CARRIED EXTRA AMMO FOR THE MACHINE GUN.

UNIFORMS COULD BE M1943 PATTERN WITH STEEL
HELMET, NOTE THAT THESE TROOPS HAVEN'T BEEN ISSUED JACKBOOTS, BUT THE SHORT ANKLE BOOTS CALLED GAITERS.
BASIC GEAR AMMO POUCHES, BAYONET, BREAD BAG, CANTEEN, ENTRENCHING TOOL(SHOVEL)MESS KIT,
