Park Ridge in 1946 and later to Silver Hill a/c

IN ENEMY HANDS:
Messerschmitt Me410A-3 was captured by US Forces and evaluated at wars end. Code F9+WK assigned to
2./(F)122 Fernaufklarungsgruppe 2.(Reconnaissance Group) don't you just love those German compound words!
Cameras were located under the forward fuselage two Rb20/30, 50/30 or 75/30 cameras, this unit operated from Sardinia, Italy.

The Me410 had revised outer wings, longer and deeper fuselage, slatted outer wings, other various improvements and more powerful DB 603 engines.
