Messerschmitt Me210A-0-1 code (DU+IB) Rechlin test center.

GERMAN AREA 51:

Before and during WWII the Germans used Rechlin to evaluate and test capture foreign aircraft and to test German prototype aircraft. There were other German testing areas, but Rechlin is the one most well known.
The base was blown up by retreating German troops
Soviets arrived on May 2, 1945. In 1946 this area was located in E. Germany the Russians used it as a Military Airbase that was also shared with the East German Air Force. Last Russian personal left this area in 1993 it is now a civilian airfield
in unified Germany...
