"That is the Bismarck during her trials. She carried her boat cranes on the weather deck, as in the photo, while those on Tirpitz were one deck higher and several meters farther forward. Additionally, Tirpitz' funnel cap was black during this time period while Bismarck's was sliver-gray throughout her short life."
