The 22nd Air Flotilla supported attacks on Malaya from airfields around Saigon. Losses were due to takeoff and landing accidents.

Aircraft are not dispersed over a wide area, but grouped together, and sitting in the open
and check out the camouflaged using palm tree
leaves.
