A5M Claude V-105 assigned to carrier Akagi
coding system was used from 1937 to 1940.
Reading the code, letter "V" for aircraft carrier Akagi, the number 1 for fighter, 05 aircraft number, the tail and stabilizer continued to be painted in red. The A5M was the worlds first monoplane carrier-based fighter. Armed with 2x7.7mm machine guns with 500rpg.
