Interesting photograph what's the pilot of the G4M2 Betty doing?
Is the bomber going to taxi, running up its engines waiting for takeoff instructions.
The bomb bay doors have been removed on this aircraft.
I don't see any weapons mounted could be a training or maintenance test flight, this version of the Betty was armed with 1x20mm
cannon in the turret, 2x20mm cannons in the waist positions, 7.7mm MGs in the nose later replaced with another 20mm cannon, 7.7mm MGs mounted on cockpit sides and 1x20mm cannon in tail.
Betty could carry 1x800kg/1,760lb torpedo, 2x550kg/1,100lb bombs, 12x60kg/130lb bombs
The G4M2 went into service in 1943.
