NOT GERMAN TROOPS:
Troops are Hungarian. After the Government takeover of the Arrow Cross in October 1944 this Hungarian unit put on the armbands of the Arrow Cross, which was a Fascist movement within Hungary
and was supported by Nazi Germany.
When Soviet troops captured Budapest and the whole country, of Hungary, they captured many of its leaders put them on trial and later executed them. Tiger 234 with Hungarian troops building in background Place of Archduke Joseph August, of Austria.
POST WAR:
The USSR later installed a Communist Government in Hungary. Soviet troops were also stationed in the country until the brake up of the Soviet Union.

HUNGARIAN DANCE:
Germany occupied Hungary in 1944 this led the Allies to start bombing Hungarian targets.
Arrow Cross Party took over the Government and was just a cruel as the Nazis, thousands of Jews and others died by their hands. File photograph shows Hungarian troops wearing arrow cross armbands.
The party was another fascist movement within Hungary, supported by Nazi Germany. By December 1944 Soviet troops reached east of Budapest, Hitler wanted the city defended to the last man the siege lasted from Nov.'44 to Feb.'45 when Romanian and Soviet forces entered the city, and later occupied January 1945. Tiger tank # 234 was part of German armor deployed to Hungary.

Otto, look! those commuters are stopping for the pedestrians, that's because we got a new crossing guard.
I don't see the troops carrying any weapons
could they be medical troops? their wearing arm bands, but I can't make out anything.
