FLIGHT LINE: LOCATION CHINA 1939
Line up of Tachikawa Ki-36 Ida operated by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force in the light bomber and army co-operation role. Ida's are
camouflaged in khaki, olive green, with red brown over gray/green. This type of camouflage scheme was common in China.
TAIL MARKINGS 101:
Tail marking on first Ida is a stylized Katakana Character "ro" second aircraft has tail marking "i", third aircraft "ni" and last marked as "ho". I don't have a Japanese keyboard so I couldn't type the characters...hope this helps
