RESTORED PUMA: Sd.Kfz234/4

File photo taken at Bundeswehr Training School
vehicle now located at the Panzer Museum in Munster, Germany. Looking at the file photo the
Sd.Kfz234/4 mounted a long 75mm barrel, and can imagine when the weapon was fired the crew must have felt some heavy recoil!
Eighty-nine (89) vehicles were built before wars end. Most of these vehicles failed to reach the troops due to lack of fuel or destroyed in transit
Did you know the wartime production of all series Sd.Kfz234s numbered 500 vehicles.

WHERE'S THE AMMO!

Vehicle was armed with the long barrel 75mm PAK 40 KwK L/46 anti-tank gun I've read that the ammo load was 36 rounds, while other sources list between (12) twelve to (15) fifteen rounds if that's all your carrying into action, better make sure every round count's for the Fatherland...
