I have found this caption to the same picture:

LAUNCH AIRCRAFT!

A6M2, Model 21 Zero flown by Lt. Saburo Shindo AI-102 launched from carrier Akagi. This was the second wave attack against Pearl Harbor 12/7/41
Shindo was one of the few Pearl Harbor pilots to survive the war.
The Zero was armed w/2 x 7.7mm machine guns
and 2 x 20mm cannons.

TARGET PEARL HARBOR!

A6M2, Model 21 Zero AI-102 flown by Lt. Saburo Shindo leaves carrier Akagi. Shindo was part of the second wave attack against Pearl Harbor 12/7/41, he was one of the few pilots who took part in the raid, to survive the war.

Later during the war, Lt.Cdr. Shindo flew with the 582nd Naval Air Group Buin, Bougainville Solomon Islands. Shindolater became a General Officer in the post-war (JASDF) Japanese Air Self-Defense Force
