My Dad was on this ship. He's 92yrs old and can remember just about everything that happened on the ship. I found a copy of the cruise book that was copied and put online by a Library in Bangor, ME. He told me to see if it had a picture of this person and that person, and so on. He was right on point when I pointed at different things and people and he knew all about both. He was a gunner on the 20mm and a lookout. His book got lost maybe 25yrs ago by his grandson and we just found out a few days ago. I told him no problem, we would just get on the internet and get another. Little did I know that people were selling them on Ebay for upwards around $600.00.. That was a shocker. We live in NC. and if someone has or knows where one is that doesn't cost 2 arms and a leg, Could you plz take the time and email me at kmassey6@charter.net. We have the big picture of his ship that looks almost like it was pencil drawn in the frame. Would like for him to be able to sit back and enjoy looking at his old friends and ship. At 92, Don't know how much longer he'll be around. Thanks, K Massey,,
