Famous WW2 Quote

This report includes many important blank spaces and one glaring mistake. The aircraft serial number is not listed (important) and the aircraft type is mistakenly listed as a B-17 (the aircraft was a B-24). This MACR report form itself was not even put into service until April 1946. It is clear that this report was created post-war to fill a gap discovered in the records. As such, it is expected that the report will be sketchy at best.
