I was able to find confirmation of every bit of your comment. Further, the paint scheme seen on Enterprise’s island in this photo confirms the picture was taken after 4 Aug 1944 when Air Group 10 was already at Quonset Point. Another photo on the Enterprise page made the same squadron misidentification and both captions have been corrected. Thank you for pointing this out.

The Triangle on the tail and the date of the photograph state that the aircraft is of VT-20 Not VT-10. VT-10 served form 16-Jan-44 to 15-Jul-44. Air Group 20 served from 16-Aug-44 to 23-Nov-44 when they cross decked to the USS Lexington (CV-16)due to battle damage on the Enterprise.
