The photo that states:
'Lewis machine gun crew of the British Eastern Command, date unknown; note ammunition carrier dog 'Mark''
Is not a Lewis gun but a Bren gun. However the magazine the one soldier is holding is a Lewis gun mag which will not fit the Bren.
