The photo was taken from Ford Island. Note also the battleship USS Maryland inboard of the Oklahoma and the oiler USS Neosho backing down at right as she shifted berths to avoid the burning oil spreading across Battleship Row. The heavy black smoke is primarily from the USS Arizona.
