Note in the upper right corner is Bremerton High School and athletic field.
In 1946 the new high school building opened just west on 13th Street. And the old BHS became Coontz Junior High.

Front to back are the carrier USS Lexington (Lexington-class), a New Orleans-class cruiser, a Tennessee-class battleship, a Brooklyn-class cruiser, and a Northampton-class cruiser in drydock number 2. Note drydock number 5 under construction at the top of the frame with a seaplane hangar just beyond.
