The tree-lined road beyond the airport is Redondo Blvd (now Aviation Blvd). The area between the hangars and Redondo Blvd would later be occupied by the North American Aviation aircraft factory. This area of Mines Field is now part of the air freight complex at the Los Angeles International Airport and only Hangar No. 1 remains.
