Ilyushin DB-3/IL-4T carrying a Type 45-36-AN Torpedo assigned to the VVS KBF (Red Banner Baltic Fleet Air Force). The parachute container is mounted into the torpedo's tail section. The aircraft could also carry the Type 45-36-AV torpedo for low altitude release and the Type 45-36-AM for shallow waters. The Il-4T continued to serve in the VVS VMS Aviation Regiments until 1952. During WWII Il-4's were captured and used by the Luftwaffe and Finland.
