The Nakajima Ki-49, Code Name (Helen) by the Allies, the name Donryu meaning
"Dragon Swallower"

Like the Imperial Navy, the Japanese Army
took the best, and trained them to be:
Fighter pilots
Bomber pilots
Reconnaissance pilots
Gunners
Ground/staff officers
Those found unfit for flight training,were
sent to ground assignments such as:
Technicians
Mechanics
Service personnel
Ground crew

Graffiti: Japanese Style.
It is not well known, but Japanese aviators
dedicated their bombs too!

Japanese pilots would say "The bomb to the
right, is a present to Chiang Kai Shek".

"The bomb to the left, is sure to hit and
destroy the American devils".

Did You Know...

Hamamatsu is still an operating Military base in Japan, used by the Japanese Air
Self Defence Force (JASDF)
