Consolidated B-32 Flight Deck(Cockpit)bomber
had high noise level in cockpit and crew felt
instrument layout was poor in design.
Consolidated modifided aircraft systems as
bombers were built.

Check out the twin layout of seperate engine throttles for pilot and co-pilot, must have been a job watching all those instruments.
Pilots assigned to fly the B-32 had 50 hours
in TB-32 Trainers, Co-Pilots had 25 hours
Training and 25 hours of observer training.
Gunners, Flight Engineers, Bombardiers and
Navigators went through seperate training on the B-32. Crews worked together in training flights and learned the in's and out's of the
B-32.
The USAAF ordered 1,099 B-32s and 499 B-32COs
contract was cancelled after V-J Day, all completed bombers were flown direct from the factories to storage areas later to be scrapped, those on the assembly line were scrapped in place.
