She deserved to be the Flagship on route to Pearl Harbor. Did she ever sail to Truk naval base? Thank you. Terri

I have a flag taken from this ship by my father. He was a crew member of USS Bass and was moored to the Nagato in Tokyo harbor.He returned with this flag after WWII.
