This Panzer III Ausf.L, is armed with a 50mm
gun. The tank had increased armor protection.
The paint scheme is similar to panzer grey.
This vehicle is part of the British Army Tank
Museum Collection.
By 1943 5,700 Panzer III's of all variants
had been built. During its production life
it was improved in both armor and weapons.
However,from 1942 on it could no longer be
effective against both the Russian T-34 or the KV-1.
