A wonderful photograph for me. My father, Alan Perrey, was the rear gunner on that aircraft on that day. His log book shows that he flew in LK115 on 17th with the Horsa and on re-supply on the 18th to 20th. For some reason their crew didn't go on 21st August. Another crew took LK115 to Arnhem on the 21st and it failed to return, crash landing having been hit by FLAK over the drop zone.

I'm also very interested in this plane. Special because I'm looking for the exact location.
from the crash site.

I live in Ede about 5 mile from the place where the plane has been crashed.

Maybe we can join our knowledge to find out what's happening with the missing driver William Thompson.
