Famous WW2 Quote
"You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs. Victory in spite of all terrors. Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival."Winston Churchill

THE RUSSIAN FRONT... DOESN'T PUT MEAT ON A MAN'S BONES.
Rank, Sergeant/Unterfeldwebel as shown by
his shoulder boards, and woven white piping
around his collar, that denotes NCO rank he's wareing the M-34 feldmutze side cap, enlisted embroidered eagle above right breast pocket, on his field gray uniform, Looks like he's been awarded the Iron Cross and Infantry Assault Badge, also looks like he has his wedding ring on, did he ever return home?
Did his men eat first, and he's having whats left. Looks like he's using an improvised cooking grill a few bricks and strips of metal. Where is his weapon, it should always be within reach, or across your lap.
