Shattered Sword Published
Contributor: C. Peter Chen
The long awaited book on Midway, Shattered Sword, has finally hit the bookshelves at your neighborhood bookstore! I got my copy today and it looks wonderful. The book has a good weight, I think I'm going to have to say it's the meatiest book I've purchased in a while; at Amazon's US$23 price it just screams of a great buy on size alone. The paper is ultra bright, and makes reading real easy on the eyes. The maps and pictures look appropriate in the book; they seem to have been inserted nicely as part of the book as opposed to the usual practice of putting all the photos in the very center of the book, almost as a useless "intermission".
I'm really impressed with book on face value alone. I'm sure the content will be even more impressive as I crack it open this weekend!
If you would like to purchase a copy of the book and would like to purchase from Amazon.com, I ask that you purchase the book via the link below. It will help pay for this site's web hosting fees. Thank you!
