Former Japanese WW2 Soldier Found in Ukraine

Ishinosuke Uwano, a WW2-era Japanese soldier last seen on Sakhalin Island, had been missing since 1958. He had long since been declared as dead, but he had recently been found in Ukraine after he attempted to contact the Japanese government. He is expected to visit Japan later this month.
